Glenkirk Elementary School Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat In Prince William County

A Virginia elementary school was evacuated on Wednesday morning when there was an alleged bomb threat.

The Prince William County Police Department was called to Glenkirk Elementary School at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14 on Wren Drive to investigate a threat at the school.

As a precaution, the building was evacuated and students were taken to Marsteller Middle School temporarily, officials said.

Parents will have the option to pick up students at the middle school if they do so choose.
